I am a Scribe of Gor, returned after a long and enforced absence.
For more than a decade I was removed from the affairs of these lands, held by forces I cannot name and bound to obligations beyond my choosing.
When I returned, my former account, my records, and my holdings had vanished.

I walk Gor again under the name Bosk, rebuilding what was lost.

I was born in the village of Wynantskill, far beyond the Farther Islands, and have traveled widely, gathering knowledge and bearing witness. A Scribe’s duty is to preserve truth, even when time and circumstance conspire to erase it.

In time, I will return to the city where my work once had purpose.
The quill endures where the sword fails.
Truth is my charge, and I bear it still.

What I once held was taken during my absence.

What I build now will endure.
