Suzy's back story. Suzy is in her 20s and was raised in Pennsylvania by her widowed father who was a veteran of the 82nd Pa. infantry in the civil war. Her father was a coal miner who later went to work in the Carnegie steel mills near Pittsburgh. During the Homestead strike of 1892 her father was killed by the Coal and Iron Police employed by Carnegie. She caught the C&I police chief one night and left him in an alley with his throat slit and she came west
