Kathy Dryburgh started early in Second Life by providing professional development for K-12 educators within Second Life. She was the driving force between Lighthouse Learning Island for 4 years and provided districts and agencies with the ability to provide RL professional development in this engaging environment as well as allow collaboration with educators world-wide. She continues to investigate the use of Second Life to support teaching and learning.
