I learn new things about SL each day that I log in. If you are a noob, there is definitely lag time in getting up to speed.
SL MarketPlace has many useful items:
*Music Hud that will play all across SL: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/MtFB-Radio-Player-Hud-Boxed-12/23097632
*Driving is laggy and challenging. But Wingsong has a Hud that makes it smoother:

*Dating is cumbersome and challenging. But Slinter has a HUD that makes it weird and more uncomfortable (thus very interesting :) ) , just like real life:

If you are here to find out about me, I add things to my profile almost everyday.
Sometimes the worst thing that happens to you can be the best thing for you. SL proves that quite often. I have a list of avatars you can try to have an honest discussion with, if you want to see it in action.

If you want to know what I am about, just watch this song all the way to the end, when they hug. Best live performance of a song, ever (!) imo:

current me:
You might find me haunting any quiet area while contemplating the challenges of rl, such as discovering how temporary a testimony can be. Also finding out it is possible to get waysided on any journey and how to be resiliant and strong minded enough to carry on. Still sticking with Paul though. He got waysided often and never let it stop him.
transitional me:
You will probably find me re-reading the letters of Paul somewhere disturbing and challenging.
old me:
You will probably find me re-reading Infinite Jest somewhere cool and quiet (New Babbage). I am interested in friendships, fun and beautiful places. I respect maturity and hard work as much or more than creativity and wittiness. Don't involve me in your strife and conflict because I don't have time.
