I've been wandering this virtual world for many years now. Had plenty of adventuires, met lots of great folks, and let my imagination run wild.

A Moment Please

She was silence,
And patience too,
Sitting on the bank of a slow stream.
Brown fingertips trailing in clear water,
With purpose not yet revealed.
A trembling leaf,
Above her on a sapling's branch,
Decided now was the time,
And let go to glide in the breeze.
As if knowing it was watched,
It turned and swayed gracefully,
A performance to end its life at her feet.
And still, she is silence.
Motionless.
Those brown fingers,
Remaining in the water,
As I am outlasted,
And continue my journey.
