We all have a public and private life. Your public life is a lie you tell the world to feel safe, the lie that protects your reputation, status, and moral high ground. On the other hand, your private life is the truth, the dangerous, shameful, and vulnerable side of you. It's the only side of you that really matters. It's the side of you that makes your pulse race, giving you a reason to live, a reason to care.

I could make up socially acceptable lies about myself to add here, but that's not what you really want to know. is it? If you do, you're just another plastic person living in your carefully curated plastic world. Those who seek the truth aren't afraid of getting out of their comfort zone and getting a little messy. I like messy. I like truth.

Are you going to keep pretending and stay safe, or are you going to be real and live dangerously? You decide.

We all know Second Life isn't real. Or ironically, it may be the only place where we can truly be real.
