Life changes so much unexpectedly & unwished for.
Times shift & grow ever more difficult to maintain.
Orbits that we relish and enjoy then shift out of line.
Soul's cry in turn & so in time hearts get broken.

If only what we have could continue for ever more but....
Life is wonderful but can be a real bitch sometimes.

We were stronger together, rocks for one another to break against.
Now its a sad dark calm befalls my heart.
Missing the times that will never be forgotten.
Fragments of what we once were and makes us what we are.

Hearts still beat even with the sweetest of scars
Each pulse a memory, a smile, some happy & some sad.
Put all together, they make us what we are.

Just a pretty but rather broken doll with no desire to be fixed.
