TODAY, Vinland / Skaertonnfjall stands once more as a full sim, and with it, the return of water. Two homestead seas have been added, reconnecting Vinland to Vigra, making it possible again to sail from Norway to Vinland and back along the Whale Road.

My Viking journey began in a roleplay community that was never meant to be a forever home, but it was an important beginning. Some of the people closest to my heart were met there, and for that, I remain deeply grateful.

From that beginning came Skaertonnfjall ... my own Old Norse, Viking realm. Over the past three years, much has changed. What began as an idea which soon grew into a living northern world: a 3×3 grid with sailable waters, shared stories, and a sense of place that felt real.

Paths have shifted, as they always do. We carried our vision westward to Vinland, and today that vision continues ... renewed, expanded, and reconnected. With the waters open once more, Vinland stands again as part of a greater whole, tied to Vigra by sea and story alike.

The gates remain open.
Visitors, travelers, friends - old and new - are always welcome.

This is not a return to what was, nor a farewell to what came before.
It is the next turning of the saga ... a realm reclaimed, a road reopened, and a home ready for the stories yet to be told.

The Whale Road is open again.
And the journey continues.
