The VUC is run as a guild with two elected guildmasters, volunteer leaders and virtual world SMEs that help drive the direction and initiative of the community comprised of members from varying geographies, cultures and business perspectives. The goal is to find applicability, relevance and quick adoption of virtual worlds for business, team work, help connect people and technologies, evangelize, mentor, build, improve and showcase various virtual spaces’ solutions both inside and outside of IBM.
