Charter: Written Word is based on Cookie Island and provides space for writers in all forms to display and share their work. Regular meetings include a Wednesday Writers' Circle and Meet an Author televised interviews on alternate Saturdays, plus a short story reading group on Fridays. Regular prize competitions and free caravans where you can write in company. Writers in languages other than English are very welcome. See writtenword.org.uk
