People generally live soft, safe lives within the confines of their carefully protected notions about the world. They're sheep who prefer the safety of green fields and still ponds. This is only made possible by the sacrifice of the few who step outside the boundaries established by the flock to immerse themselves in the deep and dangerous forests beyond. There the wolves roam freely in power.
