- 2.Makira, Princess of Egypt Long ago, His majesty, PHARAOH Ramses III, the great son of Ra, took an extended trip away from Egypt. He toured Persia, Minoa and much of the Middle East looking for riches he might want brought back to his homeland. The trip found silks, beautiful rugs and spices he had never tasted before. Upon a visit to the city of Persepolis, he found that the people there were not always friendly. Still he was received as Royalty and had a chance to look upon the Shah's great harem. The Pharaoh prided himself on keeping the most beautiful slaves in the Egyptian harem and was well known for his exquisite taste in woman. This day he spotted one in particular among the girls. She caught his eye, with her gentle but strong manner, her grace and beauty. To him it seemed she moved like the wind. With dark hair and skin the color of burnt sand, her light eyes, she had a most unusal look to her. Immediately, he knew he must have her. He ordered two of his guards to find her in the night and steal her.

As he looked on her, a quarrel broke out between her and a favorite of the Shah's harem girls. They fought and the young girl, grabbing a nearby decorative sword, beat the other girl into submission. Her fighting spirit was not unlike his own. He knew, this had to be his daughter. The Pharaoh went to the Shah and they negotiated a shipment of grain from Egypt in exchange for the peaceful release of the girl. He took the child into the Royal family of Egypt - to be known ever after as Princess Makira, daughter . Welcome Home Princess Makira.
