I am an astrophysicist interested in studying the nature of reality in a broadly interdisciplinary way.
My astrophysics specialty is large-scale simulations, including the use of OpenSim.
I'm exploring Husserl's phenomenology as the first really experimental approach in Western philosophy.
I am also interested in cognitive science, and in the experiential core of various contemplative traditions, including Taoist, Buddhist, Hinduist, Sufi as well as Christian and Judaic sources.
