I came to Second Life to take a class taught by a friend. Found another class, met some interesting people, became part of a community....the rest is history. My SL home is in CDS where I hang out and try to keep those who pursue political and personal feuds from driving the rest of us nuts. I'm also a performing musician in Second Life (and RL too - I'm the 2017 International Autoharp champion) on autoharp and fiddle.
