I am a lawyer, but don't practice law in SL. I'm also a writer and while i've experienced "metalyptic" moments i SL, (the term my favorite teacher uses to describe the place where myth meets reality, i don't believe that this is all fiction either. Who could make this up?
So why am i here? Easy. To talk to you. yes. you.
Top Picks
- Utarid and Springvale "There is this internet place you need to see, figure out and then teach me." This is the office we built in beautiful roman themed Colonia Nova, one of the Confederation of Democratic Sims... where virtual democracy thrives. I'm honored to serve the CDS in various capacities, so if you have any questions about the project, land or just want a fun place to hang out, don't hesitate to ask. It's my home.
- Satir's Main Store Satir is responsible for many of the beautiful places i get to hang out in sl, including Al Andalus, Ischia and the prettiest houses around. this was one of the first ones she built for me.. the Summer Palace in Al Andalus Generalife. She has the gift.
- sachi and Damen's Adam n Eve I have too many friends who are wonderful artisans and builders to list them all in my picks, but sachi and Damen are special people... charming with enough sass to stay interesting. You'll see what i mean when you visit their stores.
- Inspiration Park, Colonia Nova The deep parts of my life pour onward, as if the river shores were opening out. It seems that things are more like me now, That I can see farther into paintings. I feel closer to what language can't reach. With my senses, as with birds, I climb into the windy heaven, out of the oak, in the ponds broken off from the sky my falling sinks, as if standing on fishes. "Moving Forward" by Ranier Maria Rilke, translated by Robert Bly
- Al Andalus Generalife Summer Palace Gardens "Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. -- Marcel Proust I will always say yes to friendship, even if it slows me down. After all, what is the hurry?
- beyond the wall A philosopher once asked, "Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?" Pointless, really... ”Do the stars gaze back?" Now *that's* a question... From Neil Gaiman's "Stardust." (set in Stormhold :) Monkey: Hmmm… they might cost the colour of your hair or they might cost all of your memories before you were three. I can check if you'd like, but you shouldn't buy the bluebells. She picks up a small, white, glass snowdrop. Monkey: Buy this one instead. Snowdrop, it will bring you luck. Tommy: But what does that cost? Monkey: This one… costs a kiss. For all my friends in Caledon.
