Your perception of me: I hope you shape it by time spent observing me and not what others say about me. All the fancy bits people put in their profiles: quotes by some illuminary, cherry-picked memes, tweaked photos, etc,, I try to avoid. That's all drywall and spackling to cover what's underneath.. The truth under it all, time will tell. Even the best role player can't keep that hidden for long.
Perceptions: They can entrap us. Plato's Allegory of the Cave, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, and David Henry Hwang's M. Butterfly offer some literary insights. I've been the happiest with people who challenge my perceptions while living out what truly being free is about here in SL. They can do that without bruising any souls, their own included.
