If someone you know was alone on Christmas, I hope you didn't call them to tell them what a great time you were having with your family gathering and all the wonderful food you had to enjoy. Some were alone through no fault of their own except caution due to health considerations, but to be slapped in the face repeatedly with how great it was for you to throw caution to the wind is insulting and hurtful.
