Top Picks
- The Rose & Crown It's a British Pub.. the real thing... 'Gor Blimey Guvnor... !' ,, and here I am enjoying a pint of beer which u get FREE when u go there.. wow now thats what I call good service! Biiru wa oishii desu ne ! ...I always wanted to go to British Pub.. well, have to make do with SL now, as I live in Japan. It's got to go on my list so I can now drop in to my ' local'... " My name.. is KK.. and I... am a secret beer drinker.. and not a lot of people know that..' So, cheers, or as we say in Japan.. Kampai !! (hic)..
- Sone Ki Lanka -sadly no more,,, what a shame Crimson's And Azrazael's Haven. This amazing eastern styled gardens with water, birds and sounds, and lush tropical vegetation was a creation I think in gardening that actually was at the time better than my own Japanese Gardens. I loved this retreat and its elegant arabic buildings surrounded by profuse planting, water. It was lovely in day and dramatic at night. Probably one of the best gardens in SL, if not the best of all for me. I greatly admire this work and love the location now its a big empty hole where the build was, tragedy!
- Silk Water's Mountain- Japanese Village It's Japan in Winter ! Beautiful japanese/chinese styled village, asian marketplace and the Dragon Atrium. See SL's largest Buddhas amidst the snows and mists! Explore sleazy run down Lowtown, and visit red light area and find the Money Trees. IF you like Yamato town in Dore, you will love this wonderful snow covered town originally created by Versu Richelieu, and Jova Song, I now control this project. It has a lot of detail and such amazing atmosphere .. and guess what its got an eastern market full of lanterns, carpets, and goods to buy..! It's been dramatically extended across the entire sim now and into the next three sims, with new mist shrouded mountain-high 'Peak' areas added on. The largest winter village in SL with exclusive housing and three areas of cheap new starter homes for new players, merchant carts and stalls and mini shops for rent.
- Lauks Nest The best of its kind in SL since the long departed ' Lost Ciivilisations' this is really Lara Croft territory and a wonderful exotic location brimming with terraces, strange plants and mushrooms, amazing fauna and animated creatures.. Some of the best rock textures I have ever seen. .Explore temple ruins, treehouse, falls & cave. Feed the birds. Watch the bees, bats, globugs. Play elven drums. Money tree
- Yamato Town Japanese Village Nihon ni ikimasho ! My top Fave place in SL and a historic original SL project, the best and one of the most detailed Japanese Village in this world. Fabulous ! I love this and so do so many, I keep expect to meet Toshiro Mifuni stepping out of an Inn doorway with hard drinking Samurai pals on night out. It was under threat of deletion by Lindens who made it, but now its NOT being deleted... so go see this wonderful wonderful historic location from SL early days.
- Shuri Castle Gardens - Shinto Shrine InuYasha Meiji project a sympathetic homage to Shuri Castle Japan, japanese castle and shop, gardens, shinto shrine, and a unique creation. I am very proud to be a humble sponsor or patron of this amazing work by a great artist who works in immense detail and is very creative and dedicated. This is worth seeing by everyone in SL as an example of patient dedicated detailed building and has now been much expanded with creative landscapes and gardens all around this dramatic bay sim. Sheer quality of work will amaze you
- Quiet Spot -sadly no longer there !! tragedy! Beautiful retreat in Second Life. I have to say that THIS beat anything I have done in natural landscaping and was simply the BEST natural landscaping job I have EVER seen in SL a true splendour almost a sim of cascading natual moss covered cliffs, misty slopes, caves, waterfalls and plateaus and beautiful mediteranean influenced houses scatted down the slopes. The detail is superb and its so complex a build, even landscaper like me is hard to see where to start with making something this real.. it was astonishing !!
- The Ice Castle oddly vanished again,,? Ever explored a whole fantasy castle made of ice shards, sheets, and crystals? Well now you can. This is the new home of Jopy and Rocket, two of the loveliest girls in SL, and my treasured friends. That's why I made this fantasy home for them, my first real non japanese influenced major build. If you are lucky, you'll just watch the sun through the fractal ice glass windows. Sit in the rocky areas outside near the freezing streams. steaming hot pools, frosted trees and rocks, and dance in the falling snowflakes. The Ice Castle used to be in Tehama then one day it vanished and reappeared in the craggy heights of Davos. From the top of the Ice crystal tower you can look thru the mist and clouds. CHILL OUT at the KOOLEST Castle in town!!! In 2006 the Ice Castle vanished again and as yet has not re-appeared.. watch this space (Sept2006)
- Mountain Garden Rock House, Marunogere #004 (136,40) - 1920 m2 I have now put this house into storage and sold the land, it will re- appear some time. My 2nd fantasy house build for a friend. Ogami Onizuka showed me his new plot on the side of a mountain. I dreamed up and made this huge Mountain home with hanging indoor terraced gardens, water rocks, indoor cave, huge roof rock shells, and a completely open front . It's all blended in to emerge from the 'Mt.Fuji-like' mountain behind. The Idea was to make a house which allows u to view the mountain and peak from INSIDE the house. It is like living in a cave and part outdoors as well as a Mountain retreat home. It's totally unique, using naturally sourced textures from the local land and peak, and of course mountain spring water!! I now own protective land around it and have landscaped it to enhance the build which now has a fabulous ocean view thanks to the Rausch sim havine been relocated.
- GSLR in Slate The main line station of the SL Train. This is one of my favourite projects right now as I love Trains, and being Japanese get to ride the world's fastest. I would love to be on real. life steam train, what fun!! You can fly along and follow the Line of the train and I am one of people who really hopes to see it working one day and reaching into Tehama, where I promise to help by making a stop at my Japan Gardens. Good luck. A great Sl thing to see. Tickets please!!
