I’m leaving with pain and sorrow, carrying the weight of both the good and the bad memories. Seventeen years is a long time—long enough for roots to grow deep, for joy and heartache to gather, and for moments to shape who I’ve become. Every step I take forward pulls a piece of the past with it, and the silence left behind is louder than I expected.
Many people have come and gone through those years, leaving their marks in ways big and small. Some brought light, some brought lessons, and some left emptiness I never asked for. But through it all, I’m walking away stronger, even with the heaviness I hold. This chapter may be closing, but the story—my story—continues.
