Ideally your approach / profile reflects creativity, intellect, education, and wit, which are traits I offer as well. If it does not at least intrigue me, there is little chance for us to interact beyond small talk.
This is particularily the case for empty profiles, or those just saying "Ask me anything". Profiles are a form of advertising, and the above has an adverse effect.
Just please bear in mind: A 'hi', ':)' or 'smiles and waves' does not entitle you to anything, not even a neutral response, and before you drop an unsolicited compliment, please read Pick No. 6
Mutual consent is a must, only a 'yes' means 'GO'. Everything else (including silence) is a 'STOP', and not accepting that is rape
