Begin the Beguine = Artist: Cole Porter
Artie Shaw had a fantastic "swing" hit with it in 1938 (Instrumental) . Originally in Porter's stage show JUBILEE, and later in "Broadway melody of 1940".

When they begin the beguine
It brings back the sound of music so tender,
It brings back a night of tropical splendor,
It brings back a memory ever green.
