The Virginia Society for Technology in Education was founded in 1986. It is Virginia's affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). We serve the entire community of technology-using educators, technology integration specialists, and administrators.

VSTE's work in Second Life is part of the VSTE Virtual Environments Professional Learning Network.
